An inexpensive way to get a good color assortment of hackles. This hackle comes from domestic streamer rooster necks.
This imitation hackle has to be one of the best new tying materials to hit the shelves in a while. The very strong fibers are a little over an inch long and are only on one side of the “stem”, which makes it user friendly and very easy to control. It has action like marabou. It casts and sinks well because it does not absorb water.
Strung Rooster Saddles are 6" - 7" and are ideal for wets, bass, saltwater flies, and wooly buggers. A top ten essential material. 1/4 oz. / package. Available in 5 different color shades.

Great wet fly hackle. These Indian necks come from a physically small bird and although the feathers are not long, they are naturally dry with very stiff barbs. All grades are Prime meaning they have a very good feather count ranging in size from 10-20 with lots of 14's and 16's.
