Trolling is a common style of fishing when it comes to Salmon and Steelhead, especially in the Great Lakes region and along the west coast. One style of trolling that has taken the trolling world by storm is using flies. Trolling flies are large and made to be shiny, in order to mimic swimming baitfish in the sunlight. The shimmer of the fly and a well-matched attractor is enough to get some aggressive strikes out of Salmon and Steelhead.
