Pine Squirrel hair is a relatively new item on the fly tying scene but it has become very popular in a short time.  Flies such as John Barr’s Slumpbuster feature the material.
_x000D_Wapsi’s pine squirrels are soft tanned and are available both in their natural color and 13 dyed colors.  Although the underfur can be used as dubbing – our favorite use of the material is as a zonker strip.
_x000D_Wapsi offers pine squirrel zonkers both in our standard (1/8″) zonker strip and in a micro cut (1/16″) for use on smaller flies.
